Mexican telecommunications tycoon, Carlos Slim has taken the world’s wealthiest entrepreneur crown with a net worth of $67.8 billion. After 13 years as the world’s richest person, I think Bill Gates doesn’t care much about the title anyway. He pours much of his assets for charity use. Whether it is a billion or multi-billions, this large amount of wealth is proven too much for a person to spend.

This is not the fist time Bill Gates is beaten. In year 2004, IKEA’s founder Ingvar Kamprad has overtaken Gates
as reported by Swedish TV news. The Swede’s net worth is $53 billion at
that time due to the US dollars slide against Swede crowns. Kamprad is
well known for frugal habits such as flying economy class.

I think a billionaire like Bill Gates will lead again, because he shows signs of not being greedy by giving away some of his wealth to charity or the needy and everyday he is being rewared or blessed for doing so.Cause let’s be realistic, some of the richest guys will die not even having to spend half of their wealth!

The IKEA boss created some complicated net of NGO/charity bodies to cut tax. He seems to be cunning.

The console war is causing Microsoft to lose a lot of money and Bill’s company Corbis is not making profit yet.

I think it is time for others to take over the throne.

      Good work for helping humanity!

glad that philanthropical activities are not forgotten by the rich. i wish i could be as wealthy as señor slim, then i could donate funds to my university in australia which has so long suffered under the lack of the philanthropy spirit among australians.
