Q & ACategory: InvestmentASB Loan
Priscilla Connia asked 1 year ago

Dear KC Lau, I have attended your webinar today. It’s very insightful & I’ve applied for PWM. You’ve mentioned about investment in ASB. I’m 24 this year, full time employee & also a student. Earning gross income of 2200/mth & saves up 500/mth. I have applied for 100k ASB loan for 30yrs with a monthly instalment of 503 in Jan 2019. Would this be a good investment for young adult like me? Would you advise to get a different investment? I am planning to apply for another ASB loan of 10k for 5yrs, would this be relevant in order to increase my returns as I am planning to get my first property by 30. I would be grateful for your kind advise & thank you in advance.
With regards,

Thank you very much for your reply. I look forward to complete the workbook. In the meantime, I’ll make use of all your webinars. I am currently planning to get another ASB of 100k for 30yrs. Would it be wise to invest the dividends in another medium & high risk investments? Would you mind to suggest a better type of investment which could give a higher return instead of focusing in ASB only.

You could get higher return investing in business, and property too. But it highly depends on how good you are as an entrepreneur, stocks investor or property investors.
Short answer: you need to equip yourself with the knowledge and skills.
Once you do, you will know where to invest with the best result, and lowest risk.
