I’d invested in P2P lending for around 7 years.
Simply put, P2P lending platforms are places where I would earn higher interest from lending money to SMEs who need faster working capital for their business purposes. While I’d collected interests from most of my borrowers, I’ve also lost money from a few SMEs that had defaulted on their loan repayments partially.
As most lendings are not collateralized, my losses are almost “permanent”. But, the above doesn’t have to be you.
