Hi KCLau,
I am 24 years old and had only 2 years of working experience. Being in the society for two years, I realize having my possession is very important for me, for example, owning a car, owning a property or getting masters overseas. However, with only 2.7k salary, I’m not sure I can achieve all these before I am 30 years old.
Throughout the years I have heard about people and your website, saying about property investment, mutual funds, direct selling, selling stuff on ebay, rent out a room via airbnb etc. Of course, all of these are fantastic passive income. But, they have one common thing is I need CAPITAL! As for direct selling, I have to sacrifice my personal connection with my close ones, or even losing myself (I’ve heard a lot of stories about direct sellers have lost their friends and people avoid them). As for mutual funds, they are slow to generate money, earning 3% interest per annum. I can’t wait for so long to achieve my goals with that amount of salary.
It seems there’s no end for me. KCLau, do you have any other passive income that is suitable for my situation or I am being unrealistic here? haha
