At this time, the best medical card policy is still attached to an invest-linked policy.
It is good to have medical coverage when you are still healthy. So I would recommend that you get an investment-linked policy with health card. It is the best option in the market at the current moment.
Ask these questions when you get a quotation for investment-linked policy:
- How is the premium allocation? Usually 1st-6th years will not be fully allocated for your policy
- How premium holiday works?
- Is there a minimum regular premium? and the rest can be a top up instead of regular.
- Where can I find the details of insurance costs for each of my riders benefit?
- Can you design the same benefit with lower premium?
- Of course, ask about the limit and claim schedule for medical card.
The agent who can explain the details to you will be a competent one.
Good luck with your shopping. Or you can also email me to ask for introduction of a licensed financial advisor who can source from multiple companies.
