One of the reasons to invest in stocks is to earn DIVIDENDS.
DIVIDENDS are cash returns. They could be paid on a quarterly, half-yearly or annually basis.
If you own a portfolio of dividend stocks, you could be earning DIVIDENDS on a regular basis. Imagine receiving income almost every month each year from them. You are free to spend them. How about a short holiday, a nice gadget or a little pampering. Or otherwise, you are free to reinvest them to further compound your portfolio.
Beyond finances, earning DIVIDENDS is emotionally liberating. It is power, freedom and having a certain feeling that you are in control over your finances.
Ideally, that can be a norm for most of us in Malaysia and Singapore.
But, what if you are new to investing?
Or, what if you are afraid of losing money in the stock market?
Or, what if you lack the experience and are unsure of how to get started in investing?
Is the above attainable? Still, the answer is yes.
