Here is the plan for your 90 minutes
Four parts, in this order, with real company examples throughout.
A typical Malaysian family, RM15,000 a month coming in, two young kids, planning to retire at 55. We plot his numbers and find he runs out of money at 58. Then we open five doors. Four are dead ends. The fifth is why you are here.
Why trading on price movements quietly kills long term wealth, and what the richest investors do instead when a good stock drops 10%.
One simple tic tac toe grid that sorts every stock on earth by quality and by price, so you always know which box you are buying from.
The five marks of a good company, the formula we use to work out what a business is really worth, and the screeners that shortlist candidates for you in minutes.
Free for attendeesStay to the end and the Value Investing Blueprint PDF is yours. It is the full written summary of the class, so you do not have to take notes.
Invited to speak on investing by Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, PIDM, AIA, Zurich, Amanah Saham, ExxonMobil and Intel Penang.
Meet John. On paper he is doing everything right.
He earns well, he saves every month, he has a plan. Then we put his numbers into a spreadsheet, and the answer is uncomfortable. From there he has five doors to choose from. Four of them are dead ends.
John could be any of us. Same city, same skyline, same quiet worry about the numbers.
The projection says John runs out of money at age 58. Three years into the retirement he spent 25 years saving for.
Save more
John already puts aside RM1,500 a month. The amount he would actually need is so far above that, his family of four would be left with pocket change.
Earn more
A second income, starting this month, not in five years time. When John saw the monthly figure on the screen, he stopped talking about a side business.
Retire later
He can still retire comfortably. Just not at 55. The age we had to move him to is one no Malaysian wants to hear said out loud.
Want less
Keep the retirement date, shrink the lifestyle instead. What he would have left each month is a small fraction of the RM10,000 he had in mind.
Door E stays locked for now
The only door John can actually walk through. It does not ask him to earn more, spend less, or work a day longer. We open this one together in the class.
Ready to see what is behind it? Register free and we open door E together in the class.
Unlock door E →The hard truth your financial consultant will not tell you
Trying to profit from price movements is closer to betting than to investing. The market is full of PhDs, CFAs and full time professionals doing exactly that all day, with better tools than you have. You do not have to play their game.
What most people do
And why it quietly drains wealth
- Chase the hot stocks the media and analysts are covering, and usually buy near the top.
- Cut loss the moment a stock drops 10%, and call it risk management.
- Study candlesticks, moving averages, volume and wave theory, then trade more and pay more commission.
- Act on a tip from a friend whose brother knows a director. That is often the most expensive trade of all.
- Check prices daily, feel every swing, and sleep badly whenever the news turns ugly.
What value investors do
The exact opposite, on purpose
- Treat the market as a place to shop for good businesses, then wait for the price tag to fall.
- When a good holding drops 10%, buy more. The bargain just got better.
- Locked habit, revealed during the class

Three habits still covered up. One of them turns the next market crash into the best news you will hear all year. Register and we walk through all five, with real companies, in Part 2.
Unlock all five habits →Every listed company on earth sits in one of these nine boxes. Which ones to buy, which to walk past, and why, is what Part 3 of the class lays out.
One grid that sorts every stock in the world
Down the side is price: low, fair or high compared to what the business is actually worth. Across the top is quality: good, mediocre or bad.
Some of these nine boxes are exactly where you want your money sitting. Others look tempting on the surface and are precisely the ones that quietly wreck portfolios. Which is which is not obvious until it is mapped out for you, box by box.
The ranking stays locked for now. Register free and we place real companies on this grid together, right in front of you, in Part 3.
Unlock the ranking →Judge the business. Then judge the price.
Two skills, back to back. Five checks tell you whether a company deserves your money at all. One formula, almost nobody outside the class has seen it explained this simply, tells you whether today's price is actually a bargain. We walk through both using real businesses, including a Malaysian name you buy from regularly.
Consistent earnings
Profits that hold up or climb year after year, even through a recession. If the business cannot make money, you as a shareholder earn nothing.
Good return on equity
Little or no debt
A business you understand
Managers who act like owners
The five numbers and the valuation formula stay locked here. Register free and we walk through all of it together, with real companies, in Part 4.

This class is mine to teach. The method inside it, I learned from someone else first.
KC Lau
KC has been teaching Malaysians about money since 2006. He has written books, published thousands of articles, built more than a dozen online financial courses and run hundreds of online training sessions.
He lost almost everything on his first few stocks, at 21, standing beside a remisier as a tip from a friend’s brother wiped out one of his picks. That loss ended his stock investing, until he met Peter Lim, a broke IT graduate from Penang who built a referral‑only, RM100 million book by treating every crash as a discount, calm through 2008 and 2020 alike. KC spent years learning that mindset from Peter, one real decision at a time. Now he wants to put you in the seat he once sat in, and compress those years into a single 90‑minute crash course.
- Registered Financial Planner qualification
- Invited to speak by Bursa Malaysia, the Securities Commission, PIDM, AIA, Zurich, ExxonMobil and Intel Penang
- Now holds around RM7 million in the stock market, and sleeps fine through every crisis
- Learned this method directly from Peter Lim, and spent years turning it into steps anyone can follow
The track record behind the method
Peter Lim started Peter Partnership in March 2008, investing in Bursa Malaysia. He went global in 2014. Here is what USD100,000 did in the fund against the benchmark, after all performance fees were paid.
Source: Peter Partnership, as shown in the class. Benchmark is KLCI plus 3% a year from inception until 2013, and the S&P 500 Total Return Index after that. Past performance does not predict future results.
And the part most people would hide
During Covid, Peter’s fund lost two thirds of its value. He did not bury it. He gave students the full breakdown of what went wrong and what he changed because of it. You will hear about that in the class too, because a method you can trust has to include the bad years.
KC breaks down exactly how this track record was built, with the real numbers, in the class.
Save my seat →Is this class right for you?
We would rather you know now than sit through 90 minutes that were never meant for you.
Come along if
- You want long term passive income that can eventually fund your lifestyle.
- Inflation and rising living costs are starting to worry you.
- You run a business and want a sensible return on your cash without taking wild risks.
- You have tried charting tools for years and still do not have consistent results.
- You want one method that works the same at RM10,000 and at RM10 million.
- You invest in Bursa Malaysia, or in the US, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia.
Please skip it if
- You are hoping for a get rich quick shortcut. There is no magic pill here, or anywhere else.
- You want us to name a stock to buy this week. We would rather teach you to fish.
- You have credit card debt you cannot clear. Settle that first. No investment beats that return.
- You are not willing to read a financial statement. This is a skill, and skills take work.
What happens once the penny drops
A few notes from people who have learned this method from KC.
I am so glad I joined this course, and my only regret is not joining much earlier. I would love to pay a thousand times more than the value I got from this. It is called Value Investing.
My investment return over 379 days came out to 18.21%, right through a market crisis. Between stock investing, insurance and credit cards, KC and Peter simply changed my life.
I was 27 and carrying credit card debt from bad spending habits. After joining, I sold things around the house I never used, cut back on subscriptions, and slowly cleared RM40,000 of debt.
I am only 16, with no background in finance. After screening a few stocks with my dad’s help, I generated a 200% return in a single month. This is by far the best course, because of how clearly KC and Peter explain everything.
Bursa Method is the best investment I have made. Always invest in yourself first, pay yourself first.
I rejoined after seeing my average stock performance come out to about 150% over 3 years.
These are real notes, not scripts. Come see for yourself whether the method clicks for you too.

Do not worry about taking notes
KC wrote the Value Investing Blueprint specifically to summarise this class. Every criterion, every ratio, the valuation formula and the screener list, all written down for you.
Stay to the end of the session and the download link is yours, free. All we ask is that you close Facebook and Instagram and give it your full attention for 90 minutes.
Before you save your seat
Is it really free?
Yes. The class costs nothing and you do not need a credit card to register. You get the full 90 minutes, and the Value Investing Blueprint PDF at the end.
Will you try to sell me something?
Yes, and we would rather say so upfront. At the end of the class we introduce Value Masters, our paid online program with Peter. You are under no obligation at all. The 90 minutes stands on its own, and plenty of people take what they learn and go do it themselves.
I have never bought a share in my life. Is this too advanced?
Not at all. We start from the beginning, and the arithmetic is explained using everyday examples like grocery shopping and fixed deposits. Past students have included college students, working professionals, housewives and retirees who had never invested a single sen.
Does this only work for Bursa Malaysia?
No. The same method applies to the US, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and anywhere else. Peter invests globally. We show you screeners for both local and international markets.
Will you give me stock tips?
No. Any company we mention is used purely as an example to explain an idea, never as a recommendation to buy or sell. The whole point is that you learn to form your own view and stop needing tips.
How long is it, and is it live?
Around 90 minutes. This is a fully recorded class, played at set times so you can watch it end to end at a time that suits you, rather than a live call you have to catch at one fixed hour. Pick your session time inside the registration form above. Try to avoid a toilet break in the middle. The second half is where the formulas live.
I registered but something went wrong. Who do I contact?

You are about 90 minutes away from a skill you keep for life
Nobody can take this one back from you. It works today, it will still work in twenty years, and it works the same whether you are investing your first RM10,000 or your first RM10 million. Save your seat and pick a time.
