I have been receiving many emails asking information and opinion on various personal finance matter. In order to provide you the best information and convenience, a forum section had been created for further discussion.
The forum url is http://forum.kclau.com. You can also find the link at the tab above in the header.
The main purposes of having a forum here are:
- to let more experts help you – Frankly speaking, I am not an expert in every field. There are a lot of qualified accountants out there to answer your tax-related questions. There are also a lot of investors and traders out there who can give you stock research opinions. The forum will give you more flexibility and power to voice out your concern.
- evolve into an interactive community – thanks for reading my blog. I bet that you are looking for personal finance information here. For a blog, it is hard for you to share your finding and point of view. A forum will be able to let you voice out your concern and get meaningful conversation in many ways. Whenever the comment section can’t serve your purpose, use the forum.
- duplicate query – It is often enough for me to receive repeated questions from time to time. Such as question about investment-linked insurance and also unit trust investment. I will try to answer every questions in the forum. Whenever there are new readers looking for the same kind of information, they will be able to find helpful tips and opinion in the forum. The forum will act as a record of the conversation between you and me, and also with other readers and bloggers who may be more knowledgeable. Sometime when I was asked the repeated questions, I need to spend some time to dig out my old emails. With the presence of the forum, this will definitely decrease my job load. I will have more time to do more research to give you more and better information. However, if you think your situation is very personal and confidential, you still can contact via the contact form.
What shall you do now?
- Register - I don’t force anyone to register in the forum in order to post. You can post and write without registration. But kindly don’t spam the forum. Any spam post will be deleted. You can register here.
- Edit your profile – After the registration, please edit your profile. You can add your homepage, your blog, your signature and your location. It is a chance for you to promote your service and websites too. You can customize your profile here.
- Upload an image as avatar – a picture says a thousand words.
- Introduce yourself - please take sometime to introduce yourself. Tell us a bit about you, your family background, hometown, education, your money philosophy and anything you like us to know. You can do it here.

i want to get update from your forum just like the way I subscribe RSS of your blog
Hopefully I can integrate RSS feed for the forum soon. Anyone who know how to do that please contact me.
Your help is much appreciated
Good idea. But since its a new forum. I would recommend to start with one topic instead of categorised topics. You can start splitting the topics once the community grow. best wishes
