Hi KC;
I am from Penang, read your website and really very happy to see a lot article that still can teach we a great wonderful stuff. I picked up interest in financial planning in 2003 when i read Rich Dad Poor Dad, and thereafter it was no turning back.I kept reading books on finances, properties, website articles and savings so on.
Ever since 1996, when we got married, we wanted to be rich, but we had no clue about it.We even spend 5 year doing direct marketing, which we failed to make any money.(1998-2002)
Truly in 2003, both my wife and i working, we were at almost 0 saving monthly. Our savings were only the year end bonuses that being paid to us. In other words earning = spending. But the financial literacy have thought us to be more prudent and learn on saving some while making some, along the way we learn some bad lessons too.
Today, i have done some property trading, my wife decide to work her own business starting early this year, she always had passion in butique collection garments. We live on my pay alone and yet able to make some saving monthly.
I would like to thank you for being another pundit to teach the public on how to manage our finances. I have the passion to teach and train people. I have a dream of writing a book, which i want to start soon, maybe something like sharing some of my learning in financial world, of course with blessing on experts like you. But i don’t know where to start, can you help ?
