Travel as you wish

One of the advantages of being financially free is the freedom to travel wherever, whenever you wish. I dream about this all the times.

I have a friend who travels oversea more than 12 times a year. Yes! Once a month! All his trips are solely for pleasure, no business involved. That’s great, isn’t it? He can afford this because:

1. He owns a great business which gives him great passive income every month

2. He loves traveling

3. He is not extremely rich, but he has great assets that can afford all the trips

4. He has relative who owns a traveling agency

Anyway, I heard him said it once that he rarely travel to US because it cost too much! It is true from the point of view of a Malaysian. I lived in the US for a whole year in 2001-2002. I told him that it was too easy to save on budget when traveling in US. If you are going to California, finding comfortable budget stay can be easily accessible. I had been to California twice and it is too easy to get affordable San Diego vacation rentals everywhere.

Traveling on a budget had never been so easy with all information available on internet. But having the time and money to travel abroad 12 times a year is not an easy dream achievable for most people.
