Capitalize from Climate Change: New fund from AmMutual

AmMutual just launched a new feeder fund, the AmGlobal Climate Change Fund. The investment objective is to provide capital growth primarily through investment in equities securities of worldwide issuers, which will benefit from efforts to accommodate the impact of global climate change.

A minimum of 95% of the Fund’s NAV will be invested into the Luxembourg-based Schroder ISF Global Climate Change Equity (“Target Fund”), which in turn invests in equities securities of worldwide issuers which seeks to benefit from efforts to accommodate the impact of global climate change.

Target Fund will invest in companies that are involved in efforts to help mitigate or adapt to the effects of climate change. The portfolio is structured around five key investment themes:

  • energy efficiency
  • low carbon fossil fuels
  • clean energy
  • sustainable transport
  • environmental resources
